North Hall man faces weapons, drug charges

GAINESVILLE - A convicted Gainesville felon is back in jail, facing a long list of charges, including five counts of firearms possessions.
Daniel Carver, Jr. was arrested without incident at his home on Southers Road in North Hall county Friday.
Agents with the Multi Agency Narcotics Squad, Gainesville-Hall County Gang Task Force, Hall County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Division, Hall County Sheriffs Office Uniformed Patrol Division, ATF, as well as Agents with the Forsyth County FBI Safe Streets Task Force, assisted FBI Agents with the execution of a search warrant at Carver's residence.
In addition, agents with the Gang Task Force had additional warrants for Carver for an incident which occurred earlier this week where Carver rammed a vehicle in a store parking lot. The vehicle was occupied by two individuals who were not injured during the incident.
Carver faces the following charges:
*Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon (5 cts)
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Alprazolam (Xannax)
*Aggravated Assault
*Failure to Stop at the Scene of an Accident with Damage
*Reckless Driving
*No Proof of Insurance
*No Tag
