Here are a few of their comments:

Ellen wasn't bad in her initial Idol appearance, but let's see if she can offer insightful musical critique once the Top 24 is chosen. As far as Howard Stern replacing Cowell, this would be a collosal blunder on the part of Idol/FOX Broadcasting, and the show would fall into ruin. Rather than a sleazy snake like Stern, the push is on to find a replacement for Cowell who is witty, likeable, and has unquestionable music savvy. That person is Ringo Starr.

I adore howard stern I have missed him since he left regular stations and went to SR. I would tune in to watch him. And dont think hes gonna be as harsh since u called him a sleaze. GO HOWARD!!!!!!!!

Love the idea of Ringo!!! And you are so right....Howard Stern is sleazy. Everything about him turns my stomach....I don't even think he bathes....

Colossal blunder? Anything Howard Stern has ever done has turned successful... and if he doesn't think it is a good fit, he won't do it. He is an entertainment and media genius. You know nothing. When Cowell leaves, American Idol is done.... unless and only unless Stern takes over.

Absolutely correct. Howard Stern hates Idol and would deliberately wreck the show. Stern is just using Idol as a bargaining chip to renegotiate his contract with Sirius. If Stern was named judge fans of Idol would stop watching. And, I agree that Ringo Starr would be a great replacement for Simon. Or Gene Simmons.

Good Bye to J, I will not miss you at all.
Howard Stern that has to be a joke right. I would never watch anything with Howard Stern on it at all! Gene Simmons would be better but not by much. Ringo would be cool, or how about Conan?
